During the colder weather, it keeps you upbeat with a clear mind, during those cold, dark and sometimes depressing days.

Below there is a super green drink recipe that’s sure to refresh in the summer and delight during winter!

A lot of people are turned off by the taste of green juice, although millions of us just LOVE the taste!

There is an easy fix for those finicky taste buds of those who shy away from green juice.

Add one or more of the following to your drink:

  • Lemon
  • Apple
  • Cucumber

Each of these help to reduce the “vegie taste” and add a bit of sweetness, tartness and or lightness feeling on the tongue.

The Ultimate Super Green Juice Recipe!

Something I love to add to some of my smoothies and when I’m in a hurry, I’ll just use this one special mix all by itself for the perfect green juice, without the need for a juicer, blender, or clean up! I believe it to be the ultimate juice mix on the market and I’ve reviewed it here!

Recipe:

  • 1/2 cup sliced cucumber skin on)
  • 3/4 – 1 cup light coconut or almond or other non-dairy milk
  • 1 cup spinach or chopped kale (Freeze your kale for later use & its perfect for  juicing!)
  • 1 tsp spirulina powder ( optional: My Secret Ingredient! )
  • 4-5 ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Blend

The above is a perfect blend of super green nutrients, especially when adding my secret ingredient. You simply can not go wrong!

Feel free to add hemp or chia seeds to the mix! Either add it to the blend or just sprinkle them on top when you’re done! Go all out and throw some granola all up on there too! How about some blueberries and mint leaves 😉
